SPIS: State level training: “Birth Registration”

Within the implementation of the project „Enhancing the Social Protection and Inclusion System in BiH: Introduction of Social Protection and Inclusion Referral Model at Municipal Level”, the training “Birth Registration” was held in the hotel “Saraj”, Sarajevo in the period from 21st to 22nd March 2011. Participants were representatives of police and birth registration offices from ten (10) targeted municipalities of the SPIS project. The training was organized for the purpose of extending knowledge in the field of birth registration. The training enabled a review and analysis of positive legislation, the presentation and discussion of standards and conventions dealing with human rights as well as BiH legislation regulating the birth registration.

General evaluation of the training implied that most participants were satisfied with the quality and timing of the training, presented information and practices as well as with professional relationships between trainers and participants.
